Above is a picture of my Ma Ma, Stephen, and Miss Rylie. My Ma Ma loves Bassets more than anyone I've ever known! She is the one who sparked my love for Bassets....she had a beautiful Basset as I grew up and he really became my best friend :-) Whenever I get the chance I like to take one of my Basset babies to visit Ma Ma.....

Below is Kayde opening her birthday present! She is already 2 years old!!

I just had to include a picture of my sweet baby girl Diamond! Her picture really does not show just how beautiful she really is! We adopted her back in August at Petsmart. At first I was worried because the lady had told me they had her for well over 6 months....she had kittens and of course it was easy to adopt out a solid white ball of snow! They did have kittens there that day to adopt but my heart went out to Diamond....I knew she had to be so miserable....all that time couped up in a cage :-( thats no life! Well needless to say I am so so thankful I have her! She is so very loving and still so full of life....she loves to play just like a kitten and she loves to lay with me....not to mention she will actually guard the house! Its funny but if someone comes in she doesn't yet know she will let them know about it! So anyway the next time you go to a store and you see those sweet animals up for adoption consider an older one....you never know it may just turn out to be the best relationship ever!!

Below is a picture of my beautiful Mom :-) She went on to be with Jesus in 2001 at the age of 51. We lost her to breast cancer. She was truly an inspiration to me! I do miss her so bad but I do feel some comfort when I remind myself she is no longer in pain......

Below is a picture of Otis....he is the biggest baby of the entire family! He was given to us back in 2000....he is a Rott/Neo Mastiff mix.....he loves to jump up on you and give you a big hug...literally!
